Kilimanjaro – The Climb To Water Awareness

An expedition has been set up to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania, Africa. This event will be used in order to raise the awareness for the ever growing shortage of clean water worldwide. This adventure will go by the name ‘Summit on the Summit’ and is set for January 2010.
The organizer of this venture is the famous singer-producer Kenna and joining him on this quest, among normal people are three other top celebrities; Jessica Biel, Isabelle Lucas and Lupe Fiasco. A new addition to this celebrity team might also be Justin Timberlake who said on GQ magazine that he was getting ready for a major mountain climb, but no confirmation of his participation has yet been proved. This team is still bound to grow as more celebrities are to be announced in the coming months.

Brad Pitt honored for humanitarian work in New Orleans
NEW YORK – Actor Brad Pitt was honored on Thursday for his humanitarian work in helping to rebuild the hurricane-ravaged New Orleans at former U.S. President Bill Clinton’s philanthropic summit, the Clinton Global Initiative.
Pitt was presented with a plaque from the U.S. Green Building Council which said the actor and his foundation “Make It Right” had created the “largest and greenest single-family community in the world.”

Owen Hargreaves returned back to Manchester this week, and United’s physiotherapists are assessing at what stage he is atin his recovery from double knee surgery to cure the tendonitis that has cursed his brilliant career.

“What we’re seeing right now are the signs of cannibalism,” said study lead author Alan McConnachie of the Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics in Victoria, British Columbia. “We’re finding things that have been destroyed … partly digested remains.”
